This week we read the final, heart-wrenching chapters of Charlotte’s Web. The students also worked hard to draft diary entries for the chapters in the second half of the book. We look forward to binding our books when they are done, but our covers are on display in the meantime. Today we watched the original animated movie from 1972.
In social studies, we finished the book on the Northeast and spent some time reviewing. We played Around the World and studied the states and capitals together.
In grammar, we practiced identifying fragments and complete sentences.
In Morning Meeting, 4M enjoyed playing Good Morning, Mr. President and sharing about favorite Halloween costumes. We also played a game of Poison Dart Frog.
Our acorn hunters had great success on the playground!
